Praia do Sal Resort is a perfect place to stay for those who seek serenity and home-like luxury. The apartments are spacious, clean, well-equipped and very comfortable. We really enjoyed the pool / river view <3 The facilities are great (the pool is beautiful and clean, there are enough sunbeds for the guests). The resort is eco-friendly. The staff is very professional, helpful and kind - their positive attitude is contagious :) During our stay we were informed about the local festival, which turned out to be a very interesting event (we recommend August stays). The location is wonderful - close enough to Lisbon (travelling through the bridge is really nice); by the river beach (full of shells, crabs, etc.) and with the shops within the walking distance. The Omaggio Restaurant is excellent - we planned our trips the way that allowed us to eat dinner there (everything was delicious, fresh and wholesome). Many thanks to the Reception Team for doing their best to make our holiday unforgettable <3 Should we ever be back in this part of Portugal, we will definitely stay in Praia do Sal Resort!

The facilities were gorgeous and the setting is serene. I particularly enjoyed the indoor pool & spa area which were perfect & tranquil - as the weather wasn’t great the whole holiday, although we still managed to enjoy the outdoor pool which is great and goes deep, unheated with gorgeous views of the Beach and Lisbon in the distance. Our room was spacious enough with a decent sized balcony to eat & drink. The small kitchen space was surprisingly well kitted out for the size and I managed to cook a few meals for 2. Plenty of shops nearby for supplies. Recommend the chicken shops! Especially ‘Radical’. The reception staff were all lovely, warm and incredibly helpful and made us feel very welcome. I liked the Robes & slippers they provided.

Breakfast was really good with lots of options. We had dinner at the hotel one night - which is Italian - really tasty. The spa facilities were good - very quiet and a really nice perk at the end of our holiday. There is a really good walk you can do from the hotel - aptly named the Mosquito route - which unsurprisingly had LOADS of mosquitoes, so cover yourself! Well worth it though - the wild flowers and local plants where out in full bloom and very pretty.

Lovely little town with some fab restaurants. Lidl, Aldi and supermarket 15 minutes walk away. Apartments were fab with all mod cons, air con, even a washing machine which was great. Lovely pool. We went beginning May so no problem getting beds by pool, as pool area lovely but small. Used Uber to get into Lisbon City around 25-30 mins away. Shopping outlet 8 mins drive away. We had a lovely girls holiday and hope to return.

I am rarely this impressed with a hotel.. Great welcome, very kind staff, beautifully built resort, with a very interesting apartment system. One of the best massage I have ever had. Nice and very clean indoor&outdoor pool. Excellent breakfast. The calm&serenity of the place with the mild wind of the atlantic.. I cannot say enough. We were very tired when we arrived and left fully recharged at the end of our 3 night stay. I highly recommend this resort. I was told it is not this calm during the school holidays though:))
